Ames, Iowa - An eventful day one of the Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championship came to a close with the Oklahoma State men and Texas Tech women out in front of the field. An all-around solid effort that included a win in the 5,000-meter has the Cowboys in the lead, while a first, second and third in the women's pentathlon highlighted the Red Raiders' first-place effort. lt;br /> lt;br />The Oklahoma State men (37 points) hold a narrow lead over Kansas State (35 points) and Texas (34.5 points), while Texas Tech's 43 points are two better than Texas on the women's side.
