Texas runner Courtney Okolo and Texas Tech high jumper Bradley Adkins have been named this week's Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week. Okolo, the 2015 indoor 400-meter national champion, posted the fastest time in the world this season with a 51.16 second finish in the 400m to win at the Husker Invitational, and Adkins posted a Big 12 leading 2.20-meter/7' 2.5" high jump to win at the New Mexico Classic. This marks the first time Adkins, the Big 12 Outdoor high jump champion in 2014, has received a weekly honor. In addition to Okolo's 2015 400-meter indoor national championship, she also boasts a 2014 outdoor 400m national title and four total (three outdoor, one indoor) athlete of the week honors prior to this one.
