Oklahoma's Abbabiya Simbassa and Texas Tech's Sharlene Nickle have been named the Big 12's Cross Country Runners of the Week for competitions taking place between Sept. 30-Oct. 6. It is the first Big 12 Weekly Award for either student-athlete. Nickle is also the first Texas Tech female representative to win the award since Rose Tanui in 2011
