Team championships, individual All-Americans, national recruiting prowess and a record of academic achievement have followed Jim VanHootegem (pronounced van-OTT-eh-ghem) at virtually every stop of his coaching career. University of Oklahoma Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Joe Castiglione named VanHootegem to lead the OU Track and Field and OU Cross Country programs Monday.
